Pair your device with the Garmin ANT Agent. NOTE: you can skip steps below that involve uploading activities to Garmin Connect. Once the activities are synced between the Garmin device and the ANT Agent you are ready to upload to Strava.
You can upload the following file types as long as the file is 25MB or smaller:
You might want to use the file uploader if you have rides on your computer that are no longer on your Garmin or you have rides on Garmin Connect or another site that you would like to export and upload to Strava.
If you have an Edge 500 or 705, you'll find that the device mounts to your computer like a hard drive. All you'll have to do to get your rides uploaded to Strava is:
Navigate to /Garmin/garmin/activities
Select the file - (the end in .fit or .tcx)
Upload Multiple Files via Email
An upload via email option is available for uploading multiple files or files larger than 25MB. It may take some time to process, but the activities will appear under Training > My Activity once they have been uploaded and processed. You can send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org with files attached (GPX, TCX, FIT)
Add an activity manually
If you want to record an activity on Strava without a GPS device, you can create a manual upload. Simply input all the information manually, like distance, time, activity type, etc.
Instantly sync from the Strava iPhone or Android app
